Beauty Favourites / #7

It's been a long time since I last posted about my Beauty Favourites! I've added a couple of things to the collection and they've become part of my daily routine.

Blush 'Think Pink' by Catrice: My favourite drugstore brand! I was looking for a pink blush that creates that healthy flush and also lasts all day long. And this one is just that!

Beautyblender: No, this is not the crazy expensive original. Another drugstore gem. I'm using it to apply both foundation and concealer. So far, a really good (better) alternative to brushes or fingers.

Highlighter 'Soft and Gentle' by MAC: I was looking for a really good highlighter to add to my everyday makeup and stopped by the MAC counter. This one works quite well. Not too in-your-face shiny, but noticeable.

Fedora

Jumper H&M / Pants Gina Tricot / Bag Zara / Coat, Hat H&M / Boots Görtz17

I finally got to wear my burgundy fedora! But it was so windy, it almost flew away several times.

In other news, it's my man's (slash photographer) birthday today. Happy birthday, babe! :)

Autumnal

Jumper Campus by Marc O'Polo / Skirt H&M Trend / Boots Zara / Bag via Ebay / Coat Minimum

Finally a proper fall outfit! The boy and I have been swamped with Uni and work lately, so no time to shoot. And don't get me started on the days getting shorter and shorter. I mean, it sure is cozy to cuddle up, lighting scented candles, watching movies and reading, but it really limits the time you have to take proper photos. Talk about fashion blogger problems!

Hope you guys are having a great start to the week!

Turkey Photo Diary Pt. II

Here's the second part of my Turkey photo diary. Aww, I'll never get sick of the sun, sea and sand. Maybe I should frame one of those photos? Could be nice to look at while it's rainy (and snowy..brr) outside. Hope you like the photos!

Favourites

Here are three things I really like at the moment. Reading 'It' by Alexa Chung, wearing 'smokin hot' by Essie on my nails and that cute bracelet which I got in Turkey.

Sunset

One evening during our vacation, we went down to the beach to take a walk and see the sunset. We also took some photos that you can see above. How do you like them?

Sponsored Video: Review Karaoke App

Vacation bliss! Did I mention I love palm trees? / Taking a dip / Some afternoon ice cream by the pool...take me back!! / Our hotel had the best mirror-wall for selfies

Poolside musings; reading LC's latest book and wearing my Clubmasters

Give me a hotel breakfast and I'm unstoppable! / Last day beach outfit (wearing Gina Tricot top) / The view over beautiful Alanya / One more selfie

Hung out with the cutest little kitten in Turkey

Duty-free purchase! Looove the smell... / Girls night in; really nailed the Guacamole if I may so so myself / My picks from the collection Camille over the Rainbow did for Pimkie / Back to uni

Ah, I'm still reminiscing about my vacation. Although I kind of love the busy uni+work craze, I also really wouldn't mind lying on the beach (or by the pool) right now, with a nice book and some palm trees in sight. I'll never say no! But it's going to be a long time until my legs get to see the sunlight again... Meanwhile, we've got fall fashion to enjoy ;)

Last One

Tee H&M / Shorts Levi's

This is the last look from our vacation. Just a really simple denim-cut-offs-and-tee look. These are by far my favourite shorts, such a lucky find. Now they're sitting in the back of my closet, waiting for it to be summertime again...
Hope you like the look!

Palm Trees

Top Pull&Bear / Skort c/o Persunmall / Sandals H&M / Bag Zara

I love palm trees! There's something about them that instantly makes me smile. I guess it's because of the obvious holiday-connotation.

Ladybug

I recently bumped into this old ring of mine (okay, I hunted it down in my 'random stuff & jewellery' drawer). I used to wear it when I was little, needless to say it was not an above knuckle ring at the time. But I actually really like what it looks like when I wear it now. Isn't it really cute?

Turkey Photo Diary Pt. I

We only stayed in Turkey for a week, but I feel I have so many photos I'd like to share here, so there will be two photo diaries. We discovered ancient Greek buildings, wandered by the port, cuddled with cute kittens and of course, hung out on the beach.
Hope you like the photos and stay tuned for part two!
